A Theatre Company is established in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada

A theatre company has been established in Pictou County.
Acts Theatre Society (Ministry of Drama) combines drama and ministry, education and entertainment, religious and secular presentations.
The Society wishes to create and stage original religious and secular dramas.  The dramas can have a wide range of themes.
They can be tragic, comic, or any combination of the two. 
Original music will be a common ingredient.

Ministry is always more important than performance.
There are no stars in the performances; the theme or message is the star of the show.  When admission is charged, the charity receiving the profit will be clearly indicated.  jnojkm

Acts was selected as the name of the drama ministry for a number of reasons.

1. In theatre, Acts means:
   to perform in a dramatic role,
   a part or division of a drama.

2. ACTS refers to a book of the         New Testament, The Acts of         the Apostles.

3. ACTS is an acronym
              representing:
A ~ Adoration of the Trinity
C ~ Communication through  
      Drama and Music
T ~ Thankgiving for Our
      Blessings
S ~ Spirit-directed Productions.
